Award-winning Independent Films and TV Producer Re’Shaun Frear has been making movies and television programs for more than 7 years. One of the most creative collaborators in the independent film and TV industry, Re’Shaun Frear was born in West Hills, CA.

He attended Calabasas High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Speech Communications from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii. Frear served in the U.S. Army and is a proud Veteran of Desert Storm. He began his entertainment career, specializing in licensing and accounting for The Walt Disney Co. By 1999, Frear joined the consumer products department of the Latin American Division at Warner Brothers Studios. It was while working at Warner Bros. Studio that Frear continued to broaden his TV and Film skills, transferring to the WB Network as a television analyst.

Frear continued to build his brand and he joined the television and film department of Gotham Entertainment. Gotham is well-known for feature films such as Martin Lawrence's "Run Tell Dat," "You So Crazy," "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate" and Jada Pinkett Smith's "Woo.” During his tenure at Gotham Entertainment, he worked on several projects including "Spiritual Warriors." Through his creativity and hard-work, he gained the trust and respect of the owners and together they created a partnership with David Raynr and Bright Idea Entertainment.
Frear graduated to independent films with 2006’s critically acclaimed film "Dirty Laundry" starring Loretta Devine and Rockmond Dunbar. "Dirty Laundry" won the Blockbuster Audience Award for best U.S. Feature from American Black Film Festival (2006). The film was also nominated for Best Independent Film by the NAACP Image Awards and the GLAAD Awards (2007).

Frear also produced "Black Poker Stars" (2008) starring Katt Williams, Kevin Hart and Anthony Anderson, which was recognized as the No. 1 show for Black Entertainment Television. Over the years, Frear’s film and TV programs have secured notable awards and nominations. In February 2013, he scored producing success with the Lifetime TV showing of his film “Pastor Brown” starring Salli Richardson and actor/director Dunbar. Premiering against the stiff competition of “Beyonce's” HBO documentary, “Pastor Brown” resoundingly satisfied Lifetime’s TV audience and captured the No. 1 position for cable movies with 2.2 million viewers.
In addition to “Pastor Brown” and “Dirty Laundry,” Frear’s films include: "Christmas in Compton" (2012) starring Eric Roberts, Keith David, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Omar Gooding; "PAWN" (2013) an Anchor Bay film starring Forest Whitaker, Nikki Reed, Common and Stephen Lang; Macbett (2013) co-produced and starring Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan and Blair Underwood; “Home” (2014) starring Gbenga Akinnagbe Joe Morton and Tawny Cypress; and “Knucklehead” (2014) starring Alfre Woodard and Gbenga Akinnagbe.
