HBFF 2013 will be screening an Official Selection of 73 films at the Ricardo Montalban Theater, located at 1615 N. Vine St, Hollywood CA 90028.

HBFF 2013’s INFOTAINMENT CONFERENCE takes place at the W Hotel Hollywood, 6250 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood CA 90028 and features a wealth of informational panels and workshops covering a wide variety of topics which include: film production, distribution and marketing, pitching, writing for television and film, in addition to specific programs designed to inform and educate actors.

Developed research programs in various science, technology and engineering disciplines valued at over $13M per year, doubling value from inception in 3 years by re-allocating program resources, performing competitive analysis and streamlining business processes. Established key partnerships with corporate and academic research organizations. Worked successfully with multiple technical divisions, contracts, financial management, and legal (Caltech and NASA) organizations for partnership structuring (including international), proposal development, systems concepts, and task management, including personnel assignments, and improving contractual and financial processes.
Developed sponsored programs with NOAA, DOE, ARPA-E, NSF (incl. NCAR and AURA) and other federal agencies (e.g. NIH, EPA, NASA). Developed multidisciplinary processes, tools and methodologies to incorporate risk management into the planning and formulation of complex projects. Developed accelerated technology maturation and best practices for project formulation and technology infusion, and transitioning of applied research to operations.
JPL Project Manager for the Demand Response advanced infrastructure design component of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Smart Grid Regional Demonstration Program under a $120M DOE contract; served as Program Lead and Project Manager for an industry team on the Smart Grid 2020 Technology R&D Roadmap under contract to the California Energy Commission. Program Manager for power systems technologies and engineering, across civil, commercial and defense sectors; developing program in collaboration with Caltech.
