Actress, Vocalist, Comedienne and voice over talent Brély Evans is an Oakland Nativewho has become the epitome of what the industry dubs a triple threat. Her versatility puts her in a class of her own as she transcends your entertainment experience; whether she’s making you cry in a drama, buckle over with laughter in a comedy or challenging your intellectualwit through thought provoking discussion as a radio personality. Her versatility allows for her to be the face of  national brands such as Jenny Craig.

With a host of film, theater and commercial work under her belt, Brély’s break out role was opposite Oscar Award nominee Queen Latifah, as “Sabrina”, in the romantic comedy Just Wright, staring Common, Paula Patton, Pam Grier and Phylicia Rashad.
Ms. Evans role of “Sabrina” was expanded as a result of her comedic timing and ability to bring unexpected life to her characters. This same power packed persona afforded her an opportunity to star in the remake of Sparkle playing Tune Ann, best friend to lead actress Jordin Sparks, produced by Debra Martin-Chase.

Her next projects are generating a lot of  buzz, Being Mary Jane, is said to be BET’s next big series due out in January 2014, where she plays the role of Nichelle Nicholas, best friend to Gabrielle Union (Mary Jane) and Let the Church say Amen which is Ms. Regina King’s directorial debut.

Prior to starting her television and film career, this songbird was the sultry alto/tenor of R&B trio Emage, signed to Mercury/PolyGram Records by Black Sheep founder Dres and then A&R executive Lisa Cortes. Brély’s talent has been commanding attention but its her faith, drive, and commitment to excellence that continues to reward her with career opportunities, both of her own making and because her multi dimensional persona is constantly in high demand. This friendly face girl next door is sure to sale as she says, “Snow to Eskimos”.
