WELCOME to the 2013 Hollywood Black Film Festival!

HBFF 2013 will be screening an Official Selection of 73 films at the Ricardo Montalban Theater, located at 1615 N. Vine St, Hollywood CA 90028.

HBFF 2013’s INFOTAINMENT CONFERENCE takes place at the W Hotel Hollywood, 6250 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood CA 90028 and features a wealth of informational panels and workshops covering a wide variety of topics which include: film production, distribution and marketing, pitching, writing for television and film, in addition to specific programs designed to inform and educate actors.

Yolonda Brinkley

Yolonda Brinkley, CEO of YRB International Exposure-a boutique marketing communications firm specializing in sports and entertainment is an Illinois MBA with extensive communications, public relations & marketing experience. She is skilled in event planning, media/community relations, luxury lifestyle management, contract negotiations, marketing plan development and proposal creation. She holds a BA from Clark Atlanta University & is fluent in French with international experience.

Yolonda experienced great success during her tenure at Ford Motor Company/Jaguar Land Rover North America. Throughout her matriculation, she fostered relationships with fortune 500 companies and other notable organizations including Nike (Jordan Brand), Jim Beam (Courvoisier), Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation (Russell Simmons), Magic Johnson Enterprises, New Jersey Nets, Madison Square Garden, Sybase Golf Tournament, Black Enterprise as well the Sean Diddy Combs Camp & radio/TV personality Wendy Williams on concepts & events creating mutually beneficial synergies.

Yolonda has established herself as a valuable resource within the branded entertainment community and has worked on the events production team for NAACP Image Awards (Hollywood Bureau), HBFF & ABFF. Furthermore, she’s worked with Hollywood greats, director Bill Duke & writer Doreen Spicer and provides PR for rising star Karimah Westbrook & produces a mini web series for an NFL athlete. 

Yolonda constantly creates opportunities for herself & has produced Beyond Borders: Diversity in Cannes, a cross cultural symposium for emerging filmmakers during the Cannes Film Festival for the past two years. 

Yolonda is excited about the possibilities and looks forward to sharing her experiences!
